June 15 World Wide Dance
The Woodstock Ballet Studio will perform dances from around the world. Get ready to move it and groove it!

June 22 Martial Arts!
Young Masters Martial Arts will demonstrate Asian martial arts and other fighting crafts. Kick, punch, duck!

June 29 Chinese Kite Festival
Join us for stories about Chinese traditions and craft your own kite.

July 6 Make It Rain!
Do the rain dance with your craft African rainstick and get ready for the downpour.

July 13 Around the World Clay Craft
Come join us as local artist Kris Ryback teaches us about clay art made by different people around the world and helps us craft something from clay.

July 20 Global Storytelling
Local storyteller, Mr. Ben Rosenfeld will be here to tell tales from around the world.

Summer Reading Club Sign Up Information:
Club Members can begin their Summer Reading Club journey when they register beginning June 3rd at the library’s Travel Agency in the Children's Room to receive a "Passport to Read" reading log. At home, readers will record their reading time in their passports. For pre-readers parents and friends should keep track of "read to me time" spent reading with their child.

Gather at the Woodstock Opera House for the performance of “Willy Wonka” by the Woodstock Youth Theater performers.

Ticket vouchers are earned through participation in the Summer Reading Program. Vouchers must be redeemed at the Opera House

Blood Drive

Donate Blood— Get a Twilight T-shirt!
WPL will host Heartland Blood Centers’ Mobile Coach on Tuesday, July 20th in the library parking lot. Donated blood will benefit area hospitals. All donors must be at least 17 years of age or 16 years of age with a guardian and must show a photo ID prior to donating. Donors will receive a Twilight t-shirt.

Please sign up for an appointment at www.heartlandbc.org or call the library at 815-338-0542. Walk-ins are also welcome.
