World Film Night - Lake Tahoe
Juan crashes the family car on the outskirts of his Mexican town. Attempting to find help, he meets some unusual people: an old man and his dog, a young mother who wants to be a punk rocker, and a martial arts obsessed auto mechanic. Juan’s day ricochets between this trio and his family at home, where a life-changing event has occurred. This Mexican film was a winner at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Experience Iditarod!
Join us for an exciting night at the library as we welcome Dewey Halverson, nine time Iditarod Dog Sled Race competitor, to share stories from his daring adventures. His lead dog will be at his side as Dewey tells us about the history of the trail, the background of the race, and the many amazing lessons from this heroic 1,200 mile journey.

Explorers Book Club
