Spanish Language Storytime
Families who speak or are learning Spanish can enjoy stories and crafts together. This is also a great opportunity to continue using the Spanish language for families in the Dual Language Program. Just drop in for an evening of fun. Admission is free. This program is conducted entirely in Spanish.

Facebook is a dynamic social networking tool with over 300 million active users worldwide. In this interactive program, we’ll talk about setting up a profile, finding people, status updates, and much more. Feel free to bring a few favorite photos saved to a flash drive, if you’d like help with your profile after class. Prerequisite: “Computer Basics for Beginners” and “Introduction to Internet” or equivalent experience. There is a $5 charge for this class.

World Film Night - For My Father
Tarek, a Palestinian coerced into becoming a suicide bomber, is stranded in a Tel Aviv neighborhood when his explosive vest fails to detonate. He is befriended by the local residents, including Keren, a free-spirited young woman cut off from her Orthodox family. As Tarek comes to know the people that he’s supposed to kill, he begins to question his mission. A haunting film about the tragic consequences of hatred. This Israeli film was nominated for 7 Israeli Academy Awards. (Running time: 96 minutes)

Mini Golf in the LibrayrThe Friends of WPL are once again transforming the library into a Mini Golf Course! This all-day event gives you the once-a-year-only opportunity to swing a golf club, hit a golf ball and follow the intricate course set up that takes your throughout the library.  Last year's sponsors set up elaborate and challenging holes and they are promising even better this year!
